Question : I took a 4yr old prescribed amipityline XXXXXXX 50mg 1 night before 10 panel urinalysis test.
First tablet since july 2009, will it read negatively.

Panel 10 urineanalysis will detect tricyclic antidepressants including amitriptyline. Elimination time of this drug is at least 72 hours so it is not likely that the test will be negative but also test has false results in 10% of cases.
panel 5 analysis don't detect amitriptyline.
