Question : Presently I am taking Glucomet SR 1000 mg post my breakfast.
My last sugar readings (glucometer) shows - 107 Fasting & 157 Post lunch. Do you recommend a change in medication?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your blood sugar levels are normal. No change in medicine required currently. HbA1C level is also needed to asses need for change of medicine.

Anyways strict diet control and regular exercise is the best way to manage diabetes. Even if you are taking medicines, I will advice that you improve your lifestyle. Drink cleaner water and exercise as much as possible. Join some sports activity. Or play some games regularly with your kid.

Thank you doctor, I have done my last HbA1C in December 2019 the reading then was 6.8.

How frequent do you recommend the same?
Weight at present is 54 and height 5.2
I generally finish my dinner by sunset is that a good habit especially for a diabetic?

HbA1C is blood glucose reading over past 3 months. So it can be repeated after 3 months time period to know the control over blood sugar levels. Your HbA1C is also normal in december.

Weight is also appropriate for your height.

Yes finishing dinner before sunset is good. Since you are not taking insulin, hypoglycemia over night is not a problem.
