
Pressure And Mild Pain At Anus

Question: I am having following symptoms :-
1) Distended stomach
2) Feeling of gas in stomach
3) Presure and mild pain at Anus. Releif after passing gas.
4) Frequent Feeling to pass stool. But nothing happens when I actually sit in Toilet.
5) Mucus in stool

You are probably having Functional Dyspepsia with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
You can do the following -
Get the following tests done -
1. Complete blood count
2. Stool analysis
3. Blood glucose
4. Tissue Transglutaminase antibody test
Take the following medications for relief-
1. T.Rifaximin 400 mg thrice a day for 2 weeks
2. T.Librax twice a day till symptom relief
3. T.Acotiamide 100 mg three times a day for 4 weeks
4. C.VSL #3 once daily for 4 weeks
Take "low" FODMAP diet ( You can find lot of low FODMAP diets online).
