Question: Fissures have developed on the urinary tract (skin) and i tried applying boro plus. Getting burning sensation during urination and swelling at the orifice and retractable skin. Kindly give suitable medication

Hello,

Based on the facts that you have posted fissures and swelling of the foreskin along with burning sensation for urination that you have is due to infection of Foreskin (Posthatitis).

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) Are you diabetic ?
2) Did you have dry,vigorous unprotected sex very recently?
3) Did you have oral sex ?
4) Are you able to retract your foreskin completely over Glans penis ?

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Hello Doctor,

Thank you for the advice. Regarding additional detail that you requested.
No for 1-2 and 3 (I am not diabetic and no for options 2/3 that you mentioned)
Yes to 4 - As part of regular bath and clean up I did pull skin back for wash.

Kindly guide if I should start the treatment mentioned above or any changes to the medication

I have mouth ulcers for the last 3-4 days at the back of my tougue. Was taking Bcomplex for the same and are better a bit
