Question : Received a blood transfusion in Dominican Republic following a cosmetic procedure. It's been two weeks and I am scared I may have contracted a disease.. I feel fine. However, I am going to the doctor in the morning to get a full cbc and also the hiv test.

I am scared. I am so mad at myself for going to a third world country for surgery.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I believe that Dominican Republic has proper policies about blood transfusion
Anyway if possible do all Infectious disease tests. There has passed enough time for all infections to get detected.
Mainly do HIV, Hep B, Hep C.
