Brief Answer:
Usually only warm compresses are needed

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Usually for styes, the only treatment that would be recommended or needed would be applying warm, moist compresses for 5-10 minutes, 4 times a day, with massage and gentle wiping of the eyelid to help it to drain as well. This usually helps it to resolve within 1-2 weeks.

Antibiotics like moxiflox eye drops have not been shown to help with healing from styes, so I would not say you need to use any antibiotic drops or pills. If the stye isn't improving after 2 weeks, we would usually refer to an eye doctor for incision and drainage.

If you would like to send a picture of the eyelid, I could perhaps help confirm this is a stye and that there are no other complications or signs of spreading infection.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.

Regards
