Hello,

Thank you for the query.

Rectum pressure, blood in stool (on the surface of it) at your age can be caused by hemorrhoids or anal fissure. Anal fissure is a kind of wound in the rectum which causes strong pain while passing the stool. Bright red blood also appears. A lump can be present outside the anus (called sentinel pile).

Hemorrhoids can be painless. Sometimes (when blood clot appears inside) it hurts. Fresh blood on the surface of the stool is very characteristic. Lumps can be visible outside the anus, however some hemorrhoids are hidden.

Both, hemorrhoids and fissure are strongly associated with constipation, hard stool, bad diet (low fiber and mineral water intake), lack of physical activity.

If your blood were mixed with the stool, large intestine disease (like Crohns disease) should be considered. This condition usually gives diarrhea and/or constipation, weight loss, mucus in stool, nausea, vomiting, bloated abdomen.

Upper abdominal pain(mostly on the right side) and back pain, nausea, tiredness can be caused by gallstones or pancreas inflammation. The pain usually appears after a fatty or spicy food, alcohol. It tends to radiate to the back. Nausea always appears.

Your back pain can be also caused by kidneys disease like infection or stones. In such case frequent urinating and burning while urinating also should be present. Fever can appear.

Upper abdominal pain can be also caused by peptic ulcers. The pain usually appears in a 1-2 hours after a meal. Nausea is present.

I suggest you to visit your doctor and have some tests done. Abdominal ultrasound, blood work, urine analysis, liver tests, amylase, urine amylase, stool tests should be done at first. In case of low hemoglobin or blood in stool, colonoscopy should be done. Gastroscopy should be also considered especially if all tests will be negative.

In a meanwhile avoid fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods, alcohol, coffee. Increase fiber XXXXXXX products and mineral water intake. Hot bath, Metamizole, Buscolisin can help with the pain.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Hemorrhoids are quite common during the pregnancy. It is because uterine compresses blood vessels so the blood can not flow freely. This causes increased pressure in the anal veins and results with hemorrhoids.

So if the bleeding is now gone, you may wait with stool diagnostics and see if it will appear again. If so, rectal examination and rectoscopy should be done.

Your back pain seems to be diagnosed as well. Kidneys infection is causing it. Especially that you feel some relief after antibiotics. So you may also wait with this symptom diagnostics and take antibiotics as prescribed.

Nausea can be caused by antibiotics or kidney infection.

It seems that you were diagnosed. I suggest you to finish antibiotics course and see if this will help. If not, than abdominal ultrasound and gastroscopy should be considered. Till that, please follow mentioned before advice. You should also increase mineral water intake (to flush your urinary tract) and cranberries supplements.

Hope this will help.
Regards.

just a question I took milk of mag lastnight because of constipation and I went twice but pieces ? And when I wipe it was mucousy diarhea ?
just like other felt I had to poop but mucous that was yellow came out and it had fishy smell to it

Hi,

Mucus is constantly secreted by intestinal cells. It's task is to help with the stool passage. When you have a constipation, the stool does not move as usually. So there is too much mucus which normally moves with the stool. That is why you have mucus when constipation appears. This happens and does not have to indicate anything serious. Your stool is in the pieces because it was so long in the intestines so whole water were absorbed from it.

I suggest you to try diet first(increase fiber XXXXXXX products and mineral water intake), increase physical activity. As you are taking an antibiotic, probiotic should be also very helpful. Finish antibiotic course and see if all this will help your bowels to normalize. If not, then go for mentioned tests (including stool tests).

Hope this will help.

You have mentioned so many symptoms that it is really hard to help you not being able to perform physical examination.
Some of your symptoms can appear due to stress and depression. Numbness of the arm and leg, cheek tickling, ears burning can be due to stress, tiredness, ions deficiency (Magnesium and Calcium), nerve compression (like holding one possition for a long time - during sleeping), spine disc herniation and many more. Proper neurologist diagnostic is necessary if this will happen again.

We have already determined that your back pain and abdominal pain is most likely due to kidney infection what were confirmed with urine analysis. That is why I have suggested to finish antibiotics first and than, if the symptoms will be still present, get mentioned tests done.

Please do not be so worried. Becoming stressed and depressed you are aggravating your symptoms and your general condition can not get improved.
Try to relax a little as you are a very young person and most likely nothing serious isnt happening. You can try some physical activity (like pool swimming, jogging, bike riding) and Magnesium 400 mg once a day supplementation.

Hope this will help.

Ok I just feel like I keep getting more pains like aching in vagina and rectum
also is ur taint suppose to be lumpy feeling I hve pressure yhere

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (2 hours later)
Hi,

As you have had hard stools recently, anal fissure could have been created (its a kind of small wound).
Taint should be rather soft area and not lumpy. Lump in the peritoneal area can be caused by an abscess in this area. Strong pain should be present with this condition.

I think the best option for you is to visit general surgeon who will take a look at your anus.

To help with rectum condition you mat try sitz baths with Quercus Cortex and OTC suppositories for hemorrhoids.

Hope this will help.

Hi,

Can you please attach your recent urine analysis and blood work? What medicines are you at?

If your infection is not improving, urine culture test should be done and antibiotic changed. You should also get smooth muscles relaxing medicines. Right side pelvic area pain should be always checked with appendicitis and ovarian cyst. This two condition can lead to serious inflammation. At least abdominal ultrasound should be done.

Unfortunately, I can not do much for you from the point of this service. ER doctors should be more helpful I think.

Please try to take a hot bath and put some heating pads on your kidneys area. Drink more mineral water. This is all I can advice. All necessary medicines are prescription only.

Hope this will help.

Hello,

Such symptom can appear due to constipation or some serious large intestine disease like Crohns disease. Please visit your doctor and get scheduled for colonoscopy. This is very important and should diagnose your problem.

Hope this will help.

So it's abnormal even after miralax I went several times today it was snake like like curled and thin I'm scared

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (7 hours later)
Miralax should make the stool softer. Thin stool can be a serious symptom. Please do not wait anymore and visit your doctor as soon as possible for colonoscopy.

Hope this will help.

So u think its cancer ???? I'm so scared I was having loose stools after that I sent a bunch of times
doctor
Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (1 hour later)
No, I dont think it is a cancer. Colon cancer very rarely appears before the age of 50. So this is rather hardly possible at your case.

What I`m thinking is inflammatory bowels disease (Crohns disease) - I have mentioned it before.

Please do not be scared. Just visit your doctor and have colonoscopy done. It should provide the answers.

Hope this will help.
