Question : Hi , I'm scared. I had my gallbladder taken out 6 weeks ago. Upon reading my reports they state " incidemtal note of bi lateral subcentimetre cystic lesions within the breast. Not completely assessed on this study. No one mentioned it to me ! No one! It was just in the report. I found it myself. So I mentioned ot to the dr again tonight. Should I be worried. Dr said no but rather come back in 3 months . I asked if it could turn into c he said yes. I'm scared, but google says benign.

Brief Answer:
Cystic lesions in the breast is a common incidental finding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query. Based on the facts that you have posted it seems that you have well circumsized cystic lesions in the breasts detected on ultrasound scanning .

It is very common to find cystic lesion in females and most of the time they are benign in nature and not to be worried about.

One should carefully watch if it grows in size or gets blood discharge from nipples.

Thanks and Regards

Brief Answer:
No need to investigate more.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
Finding cystic lesion in the breast is common in females in child bearing age .

It has no significance as long as there is no blood discharge from nipples or infection in these cysts.

Do not get worried and there is no possibility of any cancer of the breast

I can't stay calm as I just want to know if cystic breast lesion could be serious . Please.give detailed response

Brief Answer:
Calm down till you ge results of MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up
. MRI will detect and reveal even a minute pathology in the breast and precise details . There is no point in becoming so much tense and worried about it. Worrying can not change the fact. Calm down and relax for a while
Thanks and Regards.
