Question : Got tested for stds. For hsv 1/2 igm is <0.91. For hsv 1/2 igg is 47.1 what does that mean?

Herpes simplex virus if negative for IgM antibodies means you are not having any recent infection between 7-10 days

IgG antibodies reflect an old infection

There can be false positive and false negative results also so it is better to talk to your doctor about your symptoms

Remember one thing that Herpes can be transmitted without your partner having any symptoms and knowing about it

You are not having any recent infection so there is no need to worry
