Question : Hi I have a scab on my breast that started as a bump and is now red and sore, slightly raw...is this staph?

Thanks for writing to us.

The staphylococcus is a commonest bacterial infection occurring in breast feeding female but in your case it is staphylococcus or any other infection it is not confirmed without proper examination.

You should consult a gynecologist for proper examination and treatment of your problem.
