HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It must be distressing to experience these symptoms repeatedly.

THese symptoms can occur as a result of mold exposure in some persons, though as you can guess, they can also occur in persons as a result of recurrent exposure to the viruses that cause cough/cold.

If your symptoms are mostly intermittent (weeks or longer with no symptoms), then it is likely viral infection because if related to mold exposure then the symptoms should be present most of the time because of the presence of the mold related toxins.

If the mold related toxins were still present in your body significantly or in your environment then they should cause consistent symptoms eg most days with cough or sore throat or burning pain.

There is a blood test that can see if your immune system is still having a strong response to mold. Your doctor can check your levels for you so that you can know for sure if its a problem.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
