Question : My doctor has written cyclosporine 50mg twice a day for treatment of psoriasis .

He said after that I will reduce the power .
As it is immunosuppressant it can decrease my immunity and i can get covid19/infections easily and it can harm my life .

Brief Answer:
Yes you should continue
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Immunosuppressant drugs can lead to superimposed infections like covid-19, but every drug has some Side Effects.
Whenever some qualified doctor prescribe any medicine, doctor always check benefits and side effects and when benefits are greater than Side Effects, then only doctor prescribe any medicine.
And for your information, in covid 19, one treatment is immunosuppressant drugs like dexamethasone, so do not worry.
So don't keep any doubt about it and continue immunosuppressant drugs.
Thanks And Regards
