Hello,

Dextromethorphan and chlorpheniramine can be taken with or without food. It can be taken in lower doses initially. Chlorpheniramine can cause drowsiness and preferred to be taken before sleeping

Dextromethorphan can cause respiratory suppression, so it is avoided in conditions like acute asthma, emphysema, breathing difficulties, too much mucous
