Question : I had a progesterone test done on cycle day 21 of a 24 day cycle (its difficult to get a day 21 as my periods vary from 24 days to 31 days).
My GP is happy that this suggests ovulation.
As long as I ovulate and have regular periods should I be able to conceive even at the age of 47.

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
It is good that your mid cycle progesterone level is suggestive of ovulation.
However pregnancy at this age is quite risky for you and baby, maternal complications and risk for congenital anomalies like Down’s syndrome is very high.
