Question : I woke up with pain in my right arm. It hurts most when I use my ring and pinky finger. I spent the previous day moving things in my sons room, so I figured I hurt it then. However, this evening my hand seems swollen. Should I be concerned about a blood clot?

Please give additional information and post photos
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Please give details of the area wherein pain was/is present. You have mentioned arm (meaning part from shoulder to elbow)- on using ring and pinky finger.
Which area is swollen? Please post focused and clear photos of both hand/affected area together (for comparison) attached to this query in JPEG format.
Any history of OC pills/hormonal pills?
Is this for the first time or is recurrent?
Awaiting.
Till then give rest to right elbow.
Also check if bending right elbow enhances the symptoms.
