Question : I switched from the combined pill to the progestogen only pill Desogestrel a week ago. 4 days ago I vomited approximately 3 hours after taking the pill. Has this affected my protection and should I be concerned about being pregnant?

You have vomited 3 hours after taking the pill so you have vomited the tablet.
You may need to continue desogestrel every day and also to use condoms for next 7 days.
This has affected the protection and increased chances of pregnancy.

Thank you for your response. I had unprotected sex the day before I vomited after taking the pill. I haven't had sex since. What are the chances I could be pregnant now from this?

The protection from pregnancy is ruined but the risk of pregnancy can't be evaluated.
You have intercourse a day before vomiting the pill so it is risky.
Continue pills as usual.
