Question : I have a bruise...nearly circular with a white spot in the middle. it initially started out small, but after a week it grew to about 1in. still circular and hasn't healed at all. doesn't hurt when it press on it. I don't recall hitting anything either.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I see the photo you attached and it seems like a fungal infection of the skin or dermatophytosis, ringworm.
The typical circular rash with white scaly skin in the middle.
The main treatment for it is to use Clotrimazole or Miconazole ointment over it.
You can find antifungal ointment over the counter. Use it till symptoms disappear.
