Question : I have had some dark spots on the inside of my elbows for some time.
I was told by one of your doctors that this could be due to a fungus and that a cream containing miconazole, etc could be used. I was recommended a few cream including Nizral which is the only one I got here. Been using it , seems to be working well, the spots were paling out but since yesterday I have a red itching rash all around the dark parches.
I need your help please. I can’t visit any good dermatologist since none available here for the moment. Can’t fly bk home either since borders still closed

I do not have any picture before treatment. It just that there were no red rash and the brown spots much darker.

Brief Answer:
regarding a rash

Detailed Answer:
Thank you. I have viewed the Images. Seems like an allergy to the cream

You can take an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10mg tablet for symptomatic relief from itching. In addition to that you may apply Cortizone cream, twice a day for a week and then let me know. Both of these are OTC products.

Take care. Let me know if you need any more assistance
