Should I Be Worried I Have Left Chest Pains Since Almost A Year Now?
Question: So I have left chest pains since almost a year now.. sometimes they’re dull, stabbing in the middle of the chest.. on the sides of the chest.. in my sternum and on my left ribs. I went to the ER so many times.. I’ve got an exercise ECG done.. everything okay, even tho an accident happened after running 12 minutes so we couldn’t finish it.. but the woman told me in the 10th minute, that my heart wasn’t exhausted at all yet..
they made an ultrasonic where the doctor didn’t see anything concerning.. a few days ago again they made an ECG.. everything perfect. Also blood work - amazing..
I am still afraid if it could be Angina and afraid of angina only being visible on a stress test ( ultrasonic) or another test..
most of the times my chest is tight.. whenever I go to sleep and lay down it’s annoying.. sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with chest tightness.. in the morning also.. and whenever I’m in a warm/hot shower I get chest tightness too.. sometimes in the shower, sometimes when I come out..
this chest discomfort is driving me insane and this fear I cannot handle anymore.. I got panic attacks since this pain started last year.. it’s awful.. btw I’m a 25 year old Woman 50 kg.
I suffered from high heart rate when resting for a long time, which made me uncomfortable so my doctors gave me beta blockers. I stopped using them tho cuz they made my blood pressure too low and now I ain’t got any heart racing, even tho I stopped using them. With heart racing I mean 100-115. I tend to have lower blood pressure but ofc when stressed it goes UP. I would be so happy for answers.. thank you in advance

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms could be related to fibromyalgia or chostocondritis.
Is the chest pain or discomfort triggered by manual pressure, deep breathing, body movements or cold weather?
It is also important performing inflammation tests ( complete blood coun, PCR, ESR ) for chostocondritis and thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction.
In the meantime I recommend trying low dose clonazepam which can help reduce anxiety and muscle pressure.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
