Question : Hello I ingested loose corn and realized on the second spoon full that there was slime hanging from the corn! Should I be worried?
Brief Answer:
Just a small amount, no need to be worried.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I don't think that you may need to worry by just ingesting small amount of slime.
You will not be poisoned by eating two tablespoons with corn mixed with slime.
It isn't a big amount to cause you poisoning.
If it just happened , inducing vomiting may help you flush it out.
You may need to be worried if you feel a rash on face and nausea but I believe it will not happen.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

What would be considered a large amount, enough to cause adverse reaction/poisonous
Brief Answer:
See details below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Slime contains boron which is found in borax ( one of its ingredients) which is poisonous.
The lethal dose of boron in adults is 15-20 grams. The EU safety limit of boron in slime is 300 mg/kg.
So the adverse effects may come if you eat kilograms of slime.
So eating a spoon or too corn and slime is not likely to cause you anything.
