Question : Hello! I've developed what I believe to be 2nd degree sunburn on the front of both of my calves and to a lesser extent the top of my right forearm, all three areas are blistering, my legs far worse than my arm. I was doing some reading, and was curious if I should seek possible medical attention.

Brief Answer:
Regarding sunburn

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

For a blistering sun burn, you can do cool compresses and apply a combination moderately potent topical steroid and antibiotic ointment e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% and Mupirocin 2% combination ointment Or something like that. Even a short course of an Oral steroid like prednisolone or methylprednisolone is quite Ok in case of a blistering sunburn. These are prescription medications and therefore I suggest that you visit a practitioner in your area for the needful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
