Should I Continue Taking Doxycycline For Cellulitis While Experiencing Vision Changes And Intense Headache After Taking The Medicine?

Question: I was I was bitten by a spider 4 days ago. When cellulitis developed I went to the ER. I was prescribed doxycycline which I started taking immediately. However. I've noticed changes in my vision in addition to an intense headache. Should I continue with this medication?

Blurry vision and intense headache are very possibly serious side effects of Doxycyline. You should discontinue the medication and see a doctor as soon as possible, as this can be a serious side effect.
