Should I Continue Taking Spironolactone For A Tooth Infection Despite Observing Reduced BP Readings And High Pulse Rate?

Question : I just started taking spironolactone 25 mg about a week ago. I now have an infected tooth and the dentist gave me amoxixillian for the infection. Tonight Im getting bp readings of 96/ 65, then 100/65. My doctor is out of town and I don't know what to do.
I have a root canal scheduled tomorrow morning. I have the tooth infection. I read where the amoxiillian will cause high potassium levels and the spironolactone causes high potassium. Is this as dangerous as I think it could be? Im on vasotec 20mg x 2. Is it safe ti just stop the spironolactone?

Oh my pulse is usually 60 , Tonight it is running 93 and the last reading is 81.

This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Yes spironolactone and potassium causes high potassium level but untill you have any associated kidney abnormality, level is rare to cross normal limit.
By the way why are you taking spironolactone??
So yes you can continue taking both.
And don't worry about the pulse too, it is well within the normal range.
