Question : I had a stent placed on December 13th. I Started having shortness of breath Wednesday the 23rd. Because of Christmas I can't get to my Cardiologist, and probably won't be able to until Dec 28th.
Should I do anything before then?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
After going through the medical query I can understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that sudden onset of breathlessness after angioplasty should not be ignored as this could be a sign of deteriorating cardiac function or could be due to insufficiency of mitral or tricuspid valve causing leakage of that valve.
I would like to suggest you do visit a nearby ER in some hospital and get an ECG and at least an echocardiogram done to rule out any significant cardiac dysfunction.
Also I would like to know which medications you are currently taking and your recent echocardiography report.
Kind regards
