Should I Still Go To The Hospital If My Chest

Try to get into the clinic
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using 'Ask a Doctor'. If you have already been to the ER once, and they did not think it was related to the heart, and if you are 30 years old, then you likely don't need to go to the ER for this. I'm not sure why your clinic would say you need to go to the ER, as we frequently see people in clinic with chest pain. I would suggest maybe just calling your clinic and tell them you would just like a health check-up so that you can make an appointment, and then when you are with the doctor tell them about your chest pain. They should then be able to set you up with the right tests and figure out what exactly is causing the pain.
I would only go to the ER if the chest pain seems to get worse, or lasts longer than it normally does (longer than 5-10 minutes, for example).
I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
