Question : Hello. I slept with a sex worker yesterday. I wore a Condom but it came off in her as I was withdrawing. She said no semen was inside of her. She also said she is HIV negative. Because she is a sex worker I am still concerned. Should I get PEP?

Brief Answer:
There is almost zero risk for contacting HIV virus.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The risk for HIV is very low, almost zero. There is no need for a PEP. HIV virus is very not resistant in the air, and unless there was blood exhange and traumatic sexual activity then no need to get checked for it.

But the risk for other STD is there. So I would suggest you get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and trichomonas in one week time.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
