Question : I am taking metoprolol tartrate twice a day should I take my dose now my blood pressure is 110/60 and my heart rate is 55/min I took it one full minute and it is irregular I’ve been having palpitations on & off I am due to see my cardiologist tomorrow . Is it ok to take my 2nd dose tonight.

My dose is 50mg every 12 hrs I am due to take my 2nd dose now

So if you are not having any symptoms of giddiness, weakness then you should take the second dose on time are per your ongoing schedule.

What was your holter report like? Any arrhythmia detected?
