Question : Experiencing nausea, dry heaves, diarrhea,and restlessness in lower limbs. I’m 79 yrs, and had hip replacement surgery on 5/23/18. Should I take antibiotics.

Hi,

This sounds more like side effects of medications. Will like to know what drugs you are taking so that I can review and make suggestions to you.

There is no need for an antibiotic at this time. If you at least had a fever or other suggestive symptoms, only at that time will I seek to consider antibiotics.

I will advise you limit oral intake at this pain. If there is any pain, report to me as well.
