Should I Up The Dose To Twice A Day For A Short Period For Hernia?

Domperidon should be added to 20 mg Omeprazole.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
Very likely the reflux of acid back into the esophagus has eroded the soft mucosal layer causing you to feel as if something is sticking inside.
Omeprazole is a PPI and control the formation of acid but it does not prevent reflux of acid back into esophagus.
Domperidon 10 mg should be taken three times a day ideally along with Omeprazole to prevent reflux of acid back into esophagus for complete relief.
Domperidon is not over the counter so if it's not available taking Omeprazole 20 twice would help(by suppressing acid formation) but if you can manage add Domperidon to 20 mg Omeprazole.
Thank you!
