Should I Use Plan B As A Backup Method To Prevent Pregnancy?

Question: Hi, I recently had unprotected sex. My boyfriend accidentally ejaculated on my stomach and I'm afraid that some got inside of me. I currently have Nexplanon, but it is nearly at the 3 year mark (it will be 3 years next month). Should I use Plan B as a backup method to prevent pregnancy?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information.
In the current scenario, since you are already on contraceptive medication, you can wait until your period is due and go for further management if you miss it. Also, if you have received your menstrual cycle just before the incident, your chances of conceiving are very low.
Hope your query has been clarified. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
