Question : I had a skin biopsy a few days ago. I have been putting Vaseline on it as directed. It is a little sore and red around the area. No warmth or red streaks. Should I put antibiotic ointment on it?
Brief Answer:
Put an antibiotic cream on biopsy site
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment or fusidic acid cream on the affected area twice daily.
It will prevent the biopsy site from getting infected.
