Should I Visit The Doctor About A Glass Splinter In The Foot Leading To Tenderness And Soreness?

Question: my dogs decided to knock over a glass piece of mine and i thought i cleaned up everything, well seems like my foot found a tiny piece and now i have a glass splinter in my foot but its so small i cant get at it with tweesers even after soaking my foot in a epsom salt bath.. it is pretty tender walking on that side of the foot. should i be going to the medi ctr in town here or just let my body take care of it and keep it clean?
