Question : If someone on androgel took steroids when they came off would they need to pct or just go back to androgel

So a 12 week cycle can be ran with out having to wait two week after the last pin before starting to take clomid. Person can just go straight to androgel after week 12?

If someone is prescribed androgel, And does a 12 week cycle of test e. My question is at the end of the cycle most people will PCT take clomid or nolvadex to get levels back to normal, my question is in this case since the person is prescribed androgel would They just skip the PCT and go directly back to androgel

Hi,

Both TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) and AAS (anabolic androgen steroids) can suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis resulting in diminution of spermatogenesis. So they are not used to get levels back to normal but to save spermatogenesis.
Cessation of TRT or AAS use may result in spontaneous recovery of normal spermatogenesis in a reasonable number of patients if allowed sufficient time for recovery.

However, some patients may not recover normal spermatogenesis or tolerate waiting for spontaneous recovery.
In such cases, we suggest the pharmacologic agents available to reverse them (clomid the most common).
I do not know your age and your aim (do you intend to have children in the future) but if so, you have to respect the cycles with androgel and clomid.

I’m 36 not having anymore kids so it would be best to take clomid after cycle get levels back down then go back to the androgel prescription?

If you take Androgel for low testosterone levels (hormone replacement therapy) there is no need to take Clomid cycles.

For other reasons, you can just stop taking Androgel without Clomid cycles as you do not wish to be fertile.

I understand that however the question is if I’m on androgel go off it to take a test e steroid cycle for 12 weeks would I just go back to androgel or do I need to use clomid then back to androgel
