Question : I received my MRI results for lower spine and it shows 3 disc issues: one is 5 mm with fissure, one is 6 mm, and another not measured. see attached.

I was advised to exercise, no additional treatment. I was wondering if there is anything else I should do or should I be worried with these results? I have intermittent infrequent left leg tingly/numbness.

Brief Answer:
Physiotherapy will help if there is no pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

I have seen the attached reports. There are a mild disc bulge and bilateral foraminal canal narrowing that can cause a mild compression on the nerve roots causing the tingling and numbness. If you do not have any pain then the only physiotherapy should help in retarding the further progression of the problem.

Taking methylcobalamin supplements can help. In case the pain is intense and persistent then you may need oral muscle relaxants and pain killers. In severe cases, surgery may be needed.
I hope this answers your query.

In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

Wishing you good health.
Regards.
