Question : hello, I found dental floss like string in a bowel movement. Nothing I have eaten in the past few days would resemble this. Is this a parasite? Is this a sign of another issue (IBS)? My bowel movements have been more frequent in the last few months, a few times a day, but I believe it is due to taking a new vitamin at a high dose (pantothenic acid).

Very likely it could be parasitic infestation.
A stool routine and microscopy test should be done.
Take Mebendazole 100 mg tablet twice daily for 3 days.
