Question : My hair is falling badly. I also have itchiness on my scalp.
Is there any medicine or oil I can use to stop hair fall and aid hair growth.

Brief Answer:
Remedy for seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

You seem to have scalp seborrheic dermatitis wherein there is redness, itching and flaking of the scalp. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common cause of increased hair shedding. If ketoconazole based shampoo has not been effective for you then I would suggest you to use a coal tar and salicylic acid based shampoo e.g either Protar lotion or Salytar lotion. Lather it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 7-10minutes before rinsing it off with plenty of wate. Shampoo every alternate days. In addition I suggest you to apply a topical steroid lotion e.g either mometasone furoate 0.1 %lotion (Elocon lotion) or clobetasol propionate 0.05 %lotion (Topsor lotion), on scalp skin, every night for 2 weeks. Keep it overnight. These are prescription medications and I advice you to talk to your local practitioner for there prescription.
