Question : Hi I had unprotected sex. My partner withdrew before ejaculating. Should I take the morning after pill just in case? I a within the 72 hour period. I took it once before this August (2014) and once when I was 19, possibly when I was 20 as well though I am not sure. I have not taken it any other time. I am 34 and do not want to reduce my fertility.

I am not sure what part of my cycle I am in as I was travelling and my period was a bit irregular this past month.

Yes, it would be better to take i pill within 72 hrs if you are not desiring for pregnancy now.. This is because even pre ejaculate can contain sperms which can result in pregnancy..

But if you are desiring for pregnancy, I would suggest to become pregnant at the earliest as you are already 34..
