Question : My wife was having stomach issues earlier and I recommended she try drinking some water with baking soda as if done it before for heartburn. I didn’t really remember how much but I knew it wasn’t much. So I mixed about 1/2 - 3/4 of a tablespoon in about a half a glass of water. That was about 2 hours ago and she just called me from work saying she feels like she’s going to hit the floor. Is she ok? Should we be concerned and me take her to the ER?

Give her Prilosec and wait for 30 min...If not relieved take her to ER.

I've read the details given by you,

Proper treatment of GERD has to be taken for complete relief.
Initially check her pulse blood pressure and oxygen saturation.

If the pulse is less then 110/min and more then 60/minute. Saturation around 97% oxygen and blood pressure more then 100mm upper(all would be reflected in electronic machine) don't take her to ED asap, rather give her two tablets of Prilosec (over the counter) with tums (2table spoon).

If not relieved in 30 minutes take her to ED to get better antacids in injectible fast acting form.
