You are suffering from redness in the left eye since morning. It is also watery and itchy.

Redness of the eye is suggestive of injury to the eye, such as from a blunt trauma or pollen, animal dander, dust particles, infection, conjunctivitis, dry eyes, allergies, contact lens complication, etc.

Allergic reactions to mold, dust, and dander causes watery, itchy eyes. Since it is the season of spring, avoid direct exposure outdoors or make sure you are wearing glasses or sun glasses for eye protection.

Abrasions, foreign bodies, irritants like chemicals, smog, hot wind, bright lights, blowing dust, and air-borne allergens can also cause watery & itchy eyes.

Do not touch or rub your eyes with dirty hands, it will trigger inflammation and itchiness. Avoid crowded places & people having viral/bacterial infections in the eye.

Stay away from allergens and take oral antihistamine in the evening, once daily for 3 days. It should clear out. You can apply I tone eye drops in the eyes 2-3 drops twice daily for relieve. Give eye rest.

Give eye rest and avoid sitting for prolonged periods on your PC or laptop. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an Eye specialist if your discomfort persists. You may need medical aid.
