Brief Answer:
HIV testing can be considered conclusive after 3 month of exposure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor service'.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

There was no need for such repeated testing for HIV at frequent interval. Any way I will clear your doubt.

Usually after six week of exposure HIV combo test rule out HIV effectively as they detect both Antigen as well as antibody.
So let me know your testing method as well.

The HIV can be ruled out conclusively to almost 100% after three month that is 12 week after exposure.

So you should repeat your HIV combo test (CMIA or Fourth generation ELISA) after 10 days.
I suggest you investigate after 10 days as you have investigated after 75 days of exposure.
According to guideline after three month means after 84 days it be ruled out conclusively.

So although you are safe from HIV but according to guideline to rule it out 100% you have to repeat after 7-10 days. If it comes negative than no need for any other testing.

Hope I have solved your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards.

Follow up question.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back to the 'Ask A Doctor service'.
I can understand your anxiety level but you need not to worry.

Usually after six week of exposure HIV can be ruled out effectively with HIV combo test that detect both antigen as well antibody.

I have not seen any case that turned positive in last few days. After six to eight week test can rule out HIV effectively.

But we want to rule out HIV almost 100% and cannot take even minor risk as well.
So although you are safe, according to guideline I would like to suggest you investigate again after 10 to 15 days that will complete your 12 week of exposure.
If it comes negative than no need for any further testing.

But don't worry as I told the chance of HIV is very very less in your case.

Hope I have solved your query.

If you satisfied with my answer you can give positive feedback.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards.
