Question : Sir, my daughter is 9 yr old. She is having cough and wheezing. she was also infected with same problem 5 months before. now intensity is some what less. earlier Dr. prescribed nebulisation and omnacortil forte. Should i continue it and if yes, then what should be the right dose.

I have gone through the query and here is my advice.

As per your history, if having similar complaints, then you can give omnacortil forte.

If it's in syrup form and 15mg/5ml, then you can give as per her weight.

Usual dosage is 1 to 2 mg/kg/day divided in three times a day.

If weight is around 18 to 20 kg, then you can give 4 ml three times a day.

Along with that watch for symptoms like fever, breathing difficulty. Kindly Continue nebulization.
