Thanks for the query.
Minor spotting and staining are quite common and is due to mucosal abrasions or effects of hormonal pills. And it will settle by itself in most of the cases.
If symptoms persists we have to evaluate because it can be a sign of inflammatory conditions like cervicitis or cervical polyps.
If symptoms persists you have to go for a Pap smear and ultrasound abdomen alone with a vaginal swab.
