Brief Answer:
Enlarged minor salivary gland

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

I have examined the image thoroughly and understood your problem.

Do not worry! The fleshy growth on the tonsillar pillar is the enlarged minor salivary gland due to inflammation.

There are multiple minor salivary glands located in the oral cavity and the throat. Whenever, the opening of these glands get blocked due to the inflammation, they ballon up following accumulation of the secretions inside it.

You can try drinking frequent sips of warm water; this can reduce the size of the swelling as well as the granulations over the pharyngeal wall. Avoid the food and beverages which may induce or aggravate acidity, such as, very hot or chilled beverages, coffee/tea and fizzy drinks. Proton pump inhibitors can help reduce acidity and inflammation in the throat.

Hope this answers your query; I will be available for the follow up queries.
