Sore XXXXXXX Apple And Other Symptoms. I Am Having A

Question: Sore XXXXXXX apple and other symptoms.

I am having a number of symptoms that I am not sure are connected or not. Trying to determine if I need to go to an endocrinologist or a neurologist.

Symptoms include: sore XXXXXXX apple (to touch), feeling of tightness in throat as if there is something in there, occasional pain in testicles (feels like it's actually something on the penis inside the balls), feeling of having lived moments before (the moment will feel like I know what is going to happen, but many times it's slightly different. It's very concerning as I feel I have already lived these moments before and I am constantly stressed about this. Feels like I either know the future (obviously cant be true), or am living out the past again (again, can't be true). It causes me to have trust issues with my wife and others.

I've had high blood pressure the last few years I have gone into the Dr. I have trouble sleeping. I feel like my sex drive has dropped. And my stamina is not what it used to be.

Brief Answer:
Possible problems.

Detailed Answer:
Good day.

Thanks for the query.
i am Dr. Binu an endocrinologist.

On analyzing your history, the possibilities include following things.

1.A generalised viral infection possibly affecting your thyroid area too. (thyroiditis).

2. Other possibility is Stress/generalised anxiety induced somatic symptoms. The pain and discomfort in XXXXXXX apple area could just be "globus" feeling.

You will have to see a GP first for a physical examination including thyroid to look for evidence of thyroiditis. it is worthwhile to do following tests.
1.TSH
2.CRP
3.CBC
4.Vitamin B12

if the physical examination is negative and if your GP suggests, it may be good to meet a psychologist to discuss the stress related issues. Treating the stress/anxiety may indeed solve most of your issues.

wish you speedy recovery
Binu.

Thanks for the reply!

Sometimes it feels so clearly like I have experienced specific things before that it causes more stress and concern. I know it doesn't make sense, and that causes me even more concern. Do you think stress could do this? It's as if I am having the most real XXXXXXX vu possible. But that it actually happened before, although slightly different.

I guess the question is. Is this caused by stress, chemical imbalance, or some other physical issue.

Brief Answer:
Must rule out thyroid issues.

Detailed Answer:
Good day.
thank you for the follow up.
Stress can indeed manifest in many ways including the symptoms which you mentioned. however, we must rule out other causes before we consider srress/anxiety. Hence the need to do a physical examination and the labs mentioned earlier. i would particularly like to rule out thyroid issues.
