Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Nausea and sweats do not have to be caused by gastrointestinal problem. Nausea is usually a symptom of our nervous system stimulation (vagus nerve) by some factors. Sweats are also a nervous system reaction.
The reason of such symptoms can be sudden blood pressure drop or low blood sugar. Sweats and nausea are very characteristic for these conditions. You may also have headache, heart pounding, blurred vision, dizziness.

Other possible reasons of nausea are acid reflux disease, peptic ulcers, gallstones, pregnancy, XXXXXXX ear issues and even brain issues.

Stomach problem should give chest burning, upper abdominal pain, low appetite.

I suggest you to check your blood pressure and sugar level with the next episode. If everything will be fine, abdominal ultrasound, blood work, pregnancy test and gastroscopy should be the next step.

In a meanwhile, avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, and coffee.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
