Question : Why might I have a sudden indentation on my right quad?

Thanks for the query,
There can be many causes like local injury, atrophy of the muscle, etc.
Indentation without any other complaints can also be a feature of a condition called as Morphea.
It is a condition in which there is fibrosis of fat muscle and even bone leading to depression.
If possible, please send me a photograph of the lesion.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
