Question : Will my hair thinning reverse when I quite nicotine gum? I am an older woman so not sure if hair thinning is due to the gum or my age.

Thanks for writing to us.
from the detail provided above, your hair fall could be due to androgenetic alopecia, age or nicotine use. Nicotine use or smoking can aggravate already existing hair loss.
I would be in better position to address your concern if you could answer these queries
Since how long are you having it
pattern of hair fall and thinning- diffuse, patchy
sites involved- frontal temporal crown
if the hair fall is acute or gradual
any episode of illness, surgery, stress
any other ds like anemia, thyroid disorder etc.
