Hello XXXXXXX
Red spots on body may be due to toxin released by the streptococci.
In medical terms it is called as streptococcal scalded skin syndrome.

Similarly another condition called as scarlet fever also presents with skin lesion and the causative oprganism is streptococcus.

He needs to take antibiotics for another one week.
Please XXXXXXX a doctor and discuss the above conditions.
