Question : Currently im suffering from acidity issue in my stomach. Last week had Endoscope and Biopcy tests and the results are awaited. Having one tablet as adviced by the Doctor. Iam an occasional smoker. Wanted to suggest is it so XXXXXXX to smoke during acidity problems.

Thank you for the query.

Smoking is not XXXXXXX for stomach issues. However it does not help either. You need to know that when you smoke, toxic substances get to the whole body (including stomach blood vessels and stomach cells). This toxic substances cause some kind of inflammatory processes activation. This inflammation in some cases can stimulate stomach acid secretion and make your symptoms worse.
So it is always better not to smoke.
