Question : MY FATHER IS SUFFERING FROM SEVERE MOUTH ULCERS NOW. 3 MONTHS BACK SAME THING HAPPEND. AFTER TREATMENT FROM ENT 95% CURED. NOW IT HAS COME AGAIN AND IT IS FROM LAST 4 DAYS. HIS ESR LEVEL IS AROUND 90 AND HE IS HAVING IRON DEFICEINCY. PL ADVISE ME AS FEAR IS WILL IT BE RELATED TO ANY ORAL CANCER

Thanks for writing in to Healthcare Magic!
The malignant ulcer usually do not heal with medical treatment so they are not cancer related.
The ulcers are probably aphthous ulcers or ulcers of nutritional deficiency.
Please make sure the your father has good oral hygiene. Ask him to brush twice a day and apply lotion ZYTEE for pain especially before meals so that he can eat enough.
He should take tablet Supradyn at bed time and capsule Autrin after breakfast for about two months.
If there is any ulcer that is static/necrotic having whitish/grayish base then it should be biopsied.
